Key Responsibilities
Carry out trade executions for equities and derivatives, with a primary focus on the U.S. markets.Monitor market movements, news, and events across Hong Kong and US markets to inform trading decisions
Trade and manage stock options positions, ensuring all activities adhere to risk limits and regulatory requirements
Provide real-time position monitoring and prepare regular trading reports for internal stakeholders
Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Liaise with international counterparties and clearing brokers for both equity and stock options transactions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
4+ years’ experience in trading roles related to Hong Kong or US markets, with a particular focus on equities and stock options (night shift or global markets exposure preferred)
Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
Proficiency with trading platforms and market data systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, FIX)
Solid understanding of equity markets and derivatives, especially stock options, in Hong Kong and the US
Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL) are an advantage
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently during night hours
Immediate availability or short notice period is highly regarded
