The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:
Officer (External)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to Mainland connectivity initiatives and projects in particular on policy implementation, data collection, data analysis and market monitoring
- Assist in promoting Hong Kong as a leading offshore RMB business centre and fixed income and currency hub through market research and industry engagement
- Conduct research on market landscape, industry trends, business practices, government / regulatory policies and other issues
- Provide administrative and logistical support to meetings and events
Requirements
- University degree in economics, finance, data analytics or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience in capital markets, finance, banking or related fields
- Good analytical, research, project management and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel; programming knowledge a plus
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
