Operation Officer, Baggage

Responsibilities

• Support real time baggage operation including monitoring and control of Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) to maintain a smooth baggage flow
• Monitor and manage Autonomous Electric Tractor (AET) operations
• Liaise with baggage service and maintenance contractors, ramp handling agents and AVSECO on real time baggage handling arrangements
• Implement contingency measures to contain and mitigate any possible operation impact in the event of failure in the BHS
• Prepare daily flight schedule update and resources allocation plan
• Perform safety inspection and traffic enforcement
• Conduct operational audits to ensure the service performance
• Required to work on shift duties (including overnight shift duties)

Requirement

• Degree holder and fresh graduate are welcomed; associate degree or higher diploma with minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience, or secondary education level with at least 4 years’ work experience will also be considered
• Associate degree / higher diploma, or secondary education level with only 2 years’ work experience will be considered as Operation Officer Trainee
• Possess a valid HK driving license with Class 2 endorsement is preferred
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, self-motivated and service-oriented, able to work independently and under pressure
• Competent PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge in Putonghua is an advantage
