Key Responsibilities
Plan and provide timely and effective visual care, eye assessment and clinical interventions
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in planning and developing service standards, procedure and guidelines for all ages to meet quality standards and departmental goals
Supervise the delivery of appropriate care plans, conduct staff training and quality improvement programs for the delivery of safe and quality eye services
Plan and develop community health care programs to enhance the eye health of school children
Assist in-charge of Eye Centre and Director of Allied Health Services in the development of eye service
Perform any other duties (in the capacity as Optometrist) as assigned by supervisor(s) from time to time
Job Requirements
Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Optometry or equivalent
A Certificate of Registration in Part I of the Register of Optometrists under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Optometrists Board
At least 3 years of working experience in a well-established eye centre
Demonstrated personal commitment on providing safe and quality patient care services.
Compensation and Employment Terms
We provide a unique employment experience for people seeking careers in hospital and healthcare industry. Temporary part time appointment will be made on a 1-year contract. Renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
