Paper Pattern Maker

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paper Pattern Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and accurate patterns for our design concepts, ensuring each pattern meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. This role requires a keen eye for detail, expertise in pattern drafting, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and draft paper patterns from design sketches and specifications.

• Adjust patterns for unique design features, ensuring fit and style integrity.

• Collaborate with designers to interpret and bring creative visions to life.

• Utilize both manual and computerized methods to create patterns.

• Conduct sample fittings to refine patterns and ensure proper fit and function.

• Maintain records of patterns and alterations for future reference.

• Keep up to date with industry trends and integrate new techniques and technologies.

• Communicate effectively with garment technicians to ensure seamless production processes

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Paper Pattern Maker or similar role.

• Proficiency in patternmaking software (e.g.CAD) .

• Experience with measuring and cutting tools.

• Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric properties.

• Ability to visualize concepts three-dimensionally.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing design requirements.

A relevant certification in textile & clothing, pattern making, or a related field is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Portfolio showcasing previous work.

• A passion for sports fashion and strive for excellence in pattern accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
