Post-doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant (25260023)
The applicant is expected to conduct research projects in the areas of Chinese medicine and rheumatoid arthritis. Applicants should possess an MPhil or PhD degree in Pharmacy of Chinese Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Immunology, or related fields. Those with research experience in exosome, cell and animal handling are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature review and experiments for relevant research projects;
- Supervise junior research staff and students;
- Undertake any other duties as assigned; and
- Assist in applying for external competitive research grants.
Requirements:
- An MPhil or PhD degree in Pharmacy of Chinese Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Immunology, or related discipline, with at least one first-authored SCI paper in the related field;
- Solid foundation in cell/animal experiments and immunology, prior experience of exosomes and molecular biology will be preferred;
- Ability to write research papers in English;
- Innovative, self-motivated with good planning and organisational skills; and
- Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of up to 1 year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
