ABOUT THE JOB
We are expanding quickly and we want a Reservations Officer to support our growth. The Reservation Officer is responsible for managing hotel reservations, ensuring a seamless booking experience for guests, and excellent customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage Reservations from all distribution channels: Respond proactively to guests’ queries. Process and confirm all incoming reservations via phone, email, WeChat, Whatsapp and Online Travel Agent platforms.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain reservation data in the hotel management system.
- Inventory Management: Regularly check room availability on online platforms and make actions within Standard Operating Procedures to optimize occupancy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the in property Operations and Community teams and other departments to ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze reservation reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures regarding reservations and cancellations.
- Work closely with different parties to ensure group allocations and reservations are handled diligently and accurately
Requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A hungry tech-savvy, customer-service-focused individual with a passion for the hospitality industry
- A minimum of 1 year working experience in reservations, customer service or similar role. Fresh Graduate will also be considered.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not essential.
- A team player with a detail-orientated mindset
- Exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Skilled in communicating and presenting effectively with internal and external parties
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required, and other foreign languages are a strong plus
- Proficiency in G Suite/ MS Office and other cloud platforms
- More experienced applicants may be considered for Senior Reservations Officer or Reservations Lead
