Manage the Occupational Health and Safety function in order to support the company's business strategies to achieve profit and growth objectives
Ensure compliance with HKSAR occupational health & safety, environmental legislation and related Airport Authority By-Laws
Review the formulation, implementation and secure Safety Management System Manual (SMSM)
In conjunction with the Learning & Development Dept. to formulate / implement all safety-related training / awareness programs to ensure all operations are performed in a safe manner
Formulate and implement Safety Audit and Inspection programme for internal Passenger Services/Operations, Customer Airlines and Airport Authority
Monitor the Safety team to carry out investigation for all accidents, incidents and injuries
To participate in external safety committees and update internal safety process accordingly
To manage the promotion on safety and occupational health within the company from time to time, such as Safety Campaign
As the Safety Representative to co-ordinate the Occupational Health and Safety’s Workplace Inspection of Labor Department when required
Provide recommendations for safety improvement when required
Act as the fire warden and support in participating in and organizing training provided by the Airport Authority, as well as carrying out all required responsibilities.
Participate in the Ramp Operation and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) evaluation and provide inputs on safety features.
Assist in ad hoc projects and assignments
The Person
-
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Aviation, Logistics, Engineering, Science or related disciplines with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in airport operations, safety or other relevant industries
Possessing relevant safety qualifications, such as ICAO Airport Safety Professional or HK Registered Safety Officer is an advantage
Proactive, capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure, a good team player with strong organizational, interpersonal, and fact-based problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and possessing a good knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau is an advantage
Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
Possessing a valid HK driving license Class 1 is preferred
