Job Duties:
1. Execute trades across OTC derivatives (Equity Swaps, Options, FX, structured products etc.) markets.
2. Ensure the accurate and timely execution of trades; optimize trading efficiency.
3. Monitor book risks including but not limited to margin (credit) risk and market risks.
4. Adhere to risk management policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market regulations and compliance requirements.
6. Take initiative in developing new products or markets in coordination with Risk, Legal, Compliance, MO and BO etc.
6. Collaborate with IT Team to improve trading and booking workflow efficiency.
7. Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree in STEM, Finance, or Economics. CFA/FRM a plus.
2. Holder of SFC licenses RA1 and 2.
3. 7+ years of proven experience as a Derivatives Trader, preferably in China/HK/US equity derivatives market.
4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
5. Excellent understanding of financial markets and trading strategies.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Advanced Bloomberg/Reuters user; coding skills (Python, Excel VBA etc.) are good to have.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Willingness to work on Hong Kong public holidays.
