About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic transformation and global initiative projects for a major international insurance organization in Asia. The successful candidate will manage restructuring efforts at a local entity and coordinate the rollout of group-level systems and tools across multiple Asian markets.
This role requires a strong background in IT project management, regulatory awareness, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Company Restructuring Project
- Assess restructuring requirements from:
- Customer perspective – ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and consent processes.
- Partner perspective – aligning communications and obligations with regulatory standards.
- Regulatory perspective – identifying potential restrictions, blockers, and timelines.
- Develop and drive the restructuring plan, including governance, stakeholder management, and execution.
- Collaborate with local representatives and business lines to ensure smooth implementation.
2.Group Projects Implementation
- Coordinate the regional deployment of three global initiatives:
- New Project Management tool
- New HR Core system
- New website portals
- Act as the bridge between global program managers and local teams, ensuring alignment, timely updates, and risk escalation.
- Track progress and report project status at regional and global levels.
3.General Responsibilities
- Manage multi-country, multi-stakeholder projects with autonomy and accountability.
- Ensure delivery on time, within scope, and in compliance with regulations.
- Provide effective governance, reporting, and communication across functions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in IT Project Management, ideally with global or multi-country exposure.
- Strong expertise in project governance, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in insurance operations or financial services is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to work independently and drive results in complex environments.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
