About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Chopsticks (Canteen) Department in Hong Kong, the Stewarding Agent is responsible for cleanliness of all service areas and equipment, replenish items to be used in the service, proper handling of equipment and storage. The Stewarding Agent reports directly to the Assistant Chopsticks Manager.
As Stewarding Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- General dish washing duties
- Kitchen utensils and tableware cleaning
- Kitchen cleaning
- Operate dish-washing machine
- Check for coffee stains and food films on chinaware and make sure that these are removed through de-staining and pre-soaking as often as necessary.
