Teaching Assistant in the Department of Urban Planning and Design (Ref.: 533000) (to commence from 1 October 2025, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a Master’s degree or above in Urban Planning, Urban Analytics, Urban Economics, or Social Sciences related fields. An excellent command of spoken and written English is required. They should also have a strong background in and knowledge of sustainable development, urban planning/governance, urban technologies, economics and urban studies in this region. Proficiency in GIS/spatial data technology and programming is advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in teaching support, relevant fields/organisations or tertiary education institutes.
The appointees will assist in teaching, tutoring and coordination of taught postgraduate programmes in the Department, provide a high level of administrative assistance to Programme Directors in a variety of academic activities, conduct general research, provide administrative support, and perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the Department or his/her delegates.
