Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
This role will be supporting Asia Pacific Regional Treasury operations and play a supporting role to the Treasury, Finance and business teams across all of our two business divisions in Asia Pacific. This role reports to the Treasury Director for Asia Pacific who is based in Hong Kong .
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Cash management
Ensure accuracy and report cash balance for the region.
Cash pooling and liquidity structure setup/maintenance.
Liaise with core banks for external loan/deposit placement.
Support Intercompany loan optimisation.
Coordinate dividend repatriation across business units, Tax and Treasury.
Manage Treasury Workstation to ensure accurate data reporting in the Treasury Management System for Asia Pacific.
Identify and implement areas for process improvement.
Banking management
Review, report local bank account structure.
Update bank account database and document repository, and Treasury Management System.
Manage bank account change process.
Update signers, help with opening and closing accounts, ensure proper SOX compliance.
Coordinate/monitor legal documentation of bank account changes.
Arrange banking facilities with partner banks.
Cash Flow Forecasting
Consolidate weekly cash flow forecasting reports.
Analyze and explain cash forecast variances.
Work with business units to identify and mitigate forecasting variances.
Create and update forecasting accuracy scorecards.
Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
At least 3 years’ relevant experience in a Treasury, Finance or Accounting role.
Experience with cash management and cash flow.
Knowledge of FX , and regional exposure is a plus.
Prior experience working within a Treasury Workstation (Kyriba) is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to draw evaluations from multiple data points and interpret their meaning.
Proven ability to work as part of a team, and across a cross-functional team.
Self motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Able to work independently, and under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Well versed in computer applications such as MS Excel, Google Sheet etc.
