Join us to be part of the Private Banking Operations team in Hong Kong, focused on ensuring the Private Banking business in Asia scale in a controlled manner through collaboration with business and control partners and operational teams. From our offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, J.P. Morgan’s Asia Private Bank serves the complex wealth management needs of ultra-high net worth clients in countries across the region.
As an Operations Service Delivery Associate within the Asia Private Banking Operations, you will be responsible in supporting business queries and escalations, representing operations to collaborate with business in meeting the needs of our clients. You will work closely with Business stakeholders, Risk and Control partners, Compliance and Operation teams, enabling the Private Banking business in Asia to scale in a controlled manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide first class client experiences through supporting the business on all operational matters.
- Take ownership of issues and exceptions and bring them to a logical conclusion.
- Ensure controls are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize metrics to measure the performance of service providers.
- Leverage on data and trends to identify process weakness and gaps in controls.
- Identify and drive process improvement / automation initiatives and efficiency opportunities with the respective Ops teams, leveraging on Intelligent Automation tools.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum of 3 years of operations experience with knowledge across product and processes within Private Bank.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (partnership mindset).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, possess adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the details of a process.
- Strong ownership with ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking are also required in driving solution, initiatives, and projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Temenos will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx CORE certification is a plus.
- Client facing experience is desirable.
