Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 532822) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
The Faculty is seeking a versatile talent with a particular focus on supporting corporate communications and large-scale events. Applicants should possess a recognised university degree and have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the higher education sector or in a public or quasi-public organisation. Applicants must demonstrate an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as strong interpersonal, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Proven experience and a track record in corporate communications, planning and execution of large-scale events, or stakeholder engagement will be highly advantageous. The appointee will be responsible for supporting the Faculty’s corporate communications, publicity initiatives, and the organisation of major events. Key duties include providing initial drafts of content, supporting narratives that reinforce the Faculty’s vision and mission, coordinating the production of publicity materials, managing event-related communications while ensuring consistency across multiple platforms, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of events and alignment with the Faculty’s brand, strategic goals, and messaging framework.
The appointee will also be expected to assist with other ad hoc duties as assigned, which may occasionally require working outside regular office hours or on weekends, particularly during major events. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or a written test.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
The University only accepts online application for the above post. Applicants should apply online and upload an up-to-date C.V. Review of applications will start from August 19, 2025 and continue until September 4, 2025, or until the post is filled, whichever is earlier.
