Assistant Manager (25260119)
The appointee will provide administrative support to the Mainland and Global Engagement Section of the School of Business.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate promotion strategies for recruitment of non-local (mainland Chinese and international) students for taught postgraduate programmes;
- Organise activities to enhance students’ internationalisation and engagement with the Mainland, and connection with alumni in the Mainland;
- Support the management of the School’s exchange partners, including receiving visitors and delegations, maintaining database, etc.;
- Compile statistics and reports;
- Occasional travel to the Mainland and/or overseas countries; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience;
- A self-starter with a positive attitude, be able to multi-task and attentive to details, and work well both independently as well as in a team;
- Good knowledge of and experience in working with mainland organisations and international engagement is desirable; and
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
