The Role
Associate, Equity Research, Sales, Trading & Research
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct comprehensive equity research on US semiconductor sector;
- Retrieve and analyze information from databases, external data (e.g. Bloomberg, CEIC, WIND, etc.), industry sources and companies for the stocks under primary coverage;
- Prepare and publish research reports;
- Collect and analyze industry data, maintain relevant databases;
- Assist sector head to maintain a good relationship with clients by responding their requests in a timely manner;
- Ad hoc tasks assigned by sector head.
Skills & Experience
- At least three years of sell-side equity research experience in Hong Kong market;
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting from a reputable university;
- Strong financial modelling skills and excellent analytical and communication abilities;
- Good command in written and oral English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Proficiency in MS Office, programming knowledge is a plus.
