The University now invites applications for the following position:

• provide administrative support to the Department and the academic programmes offered by the Department, including but not limited to programme development and operations, accreditation and re-accreditation exercises, programme admission and promotion;
• provide secretariat support to various committees and working groups of the Department;
• coordinate with the programmes and with Schools/ Departments/ Offices, and work closely with other academic divisions and teams;
• organise academic and student activities (e.g., conferences, seminars, workshops, study trips, etc.); and
• assist in the preparation of annual budgets, revisions of annual budgets and monitor the budget status throughout the fiscal year.

Applicants should:

• possess a recognised bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience;
• be proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
• have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
• possess good interpersonal and communication skills;
• be a fast learner, self-motivated, a good team player and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility; and
• be willing to travel to the Mainland occasionally for programme promotion and admission.

Work experience in the tertiary education sector will be an advantage.
