Group Financial Controller

Job Information

• Oversee and analyze financial performance across Group entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting and reconciliations.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including statutory accounts, budgets, forecasts, and Hong Kong tax filings.
• Manage full sets of accounts and month-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the Group’s tax position, especially for cross-border transactions.
• Review consolidated financial results and prepare reporting materials for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with market finance teams, providing guidance and support on group financial reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance operations, including system upgrades, process enhancements, and automation initiatives.
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards, financial regulations, and relevant legislation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in accounting and financial management
• Proven experience with finance technologies such as CCH Tagetik and Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound business acumen
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset; able to work effectively across teams and with senior stakeholders
• Proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
