We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our team. You will provide essential administrative and commercial support to ensure smooth project delivery, including document control, correspondence, and meeting coordination. You will manage job costing activities such as subcontractor invoices, progress claims, and payment schedules, and oversee site logistics including vehicles, plant, equipment, and leave registers. With a focus on financial accuracy, you will assist with cost forecasting, supplier reconciliations, and purchasing. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to the project’s safety, quality, and compliance standards.
About the role:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and commercial support to the project team, including document control, correspondence, and meeting coordination.
- Manage job costing activities, including data entry of dockets, subcontractor invoices, progress claims, and payment schedules.
- Oversee site logistics and registers, including vehicles, plant, equipment, and project leave records.
- Support financial controls and reporting, such as invoice checking, supplier reconciliations, purchasing, and cost forecasting.
- Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Certificate III Business Administration qualification or similar.
- Proven experience in job costing, purchasing, and accounts, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector
- Advanced data entry skills with a strong focus on speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
- High-level data entry skills with speed and accuracy, experience with Viewpoint or similar job costing programs, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Current C-Class Driver’s License
