This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Church's religious mission by ensuring that all aspects of local unit finances and record-keeping are managed and administered legally and professionally. And that our bishops and branch presidents are being served with top-tier, Christlike service.
- Train and advise local unit leaders and clerks on finance and membership record-keeping policies, principles, and tools.
- Reconcile financial transactions. Ensure that all local unit record-keeping reports and transactions are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner, strictly following Church policies.
- Identify and analyze local unit trends, providing insightful reports to LMSCs, Area LMS Manager, and other departments to aid in decision making, and offering support to regional local unit offices.
- Control selected aspects of the results summarized on monthly statistical summary report.
- Assists with finance and membership audits and resolution processes.
- Assists with local unit items and coordinate with related parties to resolve issues.
- Assists local leaders in preparing unit organization applications.
- Assists with finding members whose location is unknown.
- Welcome and provide briefings to new bishops/ new branch presidents.
- First line of Support for Local Unit Finance and Records.
- Coordinate and resolve issues for bishops/ branch presidents/ clerks.
- Interact with other departments and headquarter as needed. Follow-up and follow-through.
- Regular check-in with bishops and branch presidents.
- Work together with LMSCs on assigned department projects.
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Business or related discipline and with at least 3 years of related work experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Demonstrated experience on providing and leading improvements on customer service.
- Possess strong business sense, organizational and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team by establishing and cultivating trusted and respectful relationships in a professional manner.
- Good data analysis, research, and computer skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and common computer software.
- Driver license holder preferable. Must be able to travel as required (mostly within Asia).
