We are looking for a highly motivated Merchandiser
*Requirements:*
* F.5 or above with Diploma in Textile/Clothing preferred
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in women's clothing/garment industry
* Knowledge in selecting fabrics for women's clothing
* Willingness to travel to Guangzhou for fabric sourcing and conduct regular factory visits
* Ability to work independently and under pressure
* Willing to learn, self-motivated and good team player
* Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
* Proficient in MS Office applications
* Immediate availability is preferred
*Job duties:*
* Assist in sample development, sourcing, ordering & production follow up
* Source fabrics in Guangzhou and select suitable materials for women's clothing
* Prepare cost sheets, negotiate prices with suppliers, and manage quotations for women's clothing orders
* Conduct regular factory inspections to ensure quality and production standards
* Perform quality checks on samples and production, and prepare reports on production status and issues
* Coordinate model fittings to evaluate sample fit and make necessary adjustments
* Coordinate with factories to ensure timely deliveries
* Provide clerical support
* Follow up on all processes of the order to meet the shipment request date
* Maintain good relationships with suppliers
