The MPFA was set up in September 1998 under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485). Our mission is to regulate and supervise privately managed provident fund schemes; to educate the working population about saving for retirement and the role of the MPF System as one of the pillars supporting retirement living; and to lead improvements to provident fund schemes to make them more efficient and user-friendly, and better meet the needs of the working population.

We would like to invite students of full-time Degree, Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, or equivalent, from local tertiary education institutions, to join us as MPFA Student Ambassadors.

Student Ambassadors are required to provide assistance at MPFA’s public education and publicity activities. These activities will be held on any day of the week and outdoors activities may be required. The major duties will include the following:

Serve as a backup to MPFA staff for handling simple enquiries at publicity and education events;
Set up and man enquiry counters and game booths for promoting MPF System and the merits of having an early start in retirement planning to the public;
Distribute publication and giveaway items at publicity and education events;
Explain basic knowledge on MPF-related investment to the public; and
Share financial planning and MPF messages to students in youth programmes.

Please note that the appointed Student Ambassadors are required to attend a compulsory training session on MPF System and MPF-related investment. An allowance of HK$65 per hour will be offered to the Student Ambassadors for their services.
