Senior Executive Officer (25260104)
The Department of Computer Science is seeking a highly self-motivated and dynamic team member to provide executive support to the undergraduate programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Handle academic programme administration, including student admissions, quality assurance, maintenance of student records, course and examination scheduling, student-related matters, and promotion activities;
- Provide secretarial support to internal meetings, such as programme committees and working groups, compile reports and proposals and revisions for undergraduate programme development, while ensuring accurate record management;
- Oversee administrative tasks during the internship lifecycle, including briefing and supporting students and stakeholders, managing application and documentation, monitoring progress, and collecting student performance reports;
- Coordinate undergraduate Final Year Project;
- Provide support for office administration to achieve operational effectiveness; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of the Department, Programme Directors or his/her delegates.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the tertiary sector;
- Meticulousness, excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with a team;
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
