Shipping Assistant

The Shipping Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of domestic and international shipments. He is responsible for packaging, labelling, and invoicing outgoing orders while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. A strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards is essential to succeed in this role.

The Role:

• Accurately package, label, and invoice domestic and international shipments.

• Provide logistics support for carrier coordination and customs documentation.

• Receive, process and document customer RMAs/returns and supplier returns

• Document all outgoing/incoming shipments and maintain compliance with Company and regulatory guidelines

• Assist with moving inventory and materials to quality control / inspection

• Organise and maintain inventory storage locations for optimal efficiency

• Ensure compliance with shipping standards and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in International / domestic shipping

• Hands-on experience with major carrier platforms such as FedEx Ship Manager, UPS, DHL Express, UPS Worldship

• Knowlege of Bill of Lading (BOL), Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), Less Than Truckload (LTL) and third party shipping procedures

• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English and Chinese

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and inventory management software

• Detailed-oriented and organised with strong problem solving skills.
