As the Assistant Manager of Operation Risk (Transaction Review), you will support the execution of retrospective reviews and data-driven investigations to identify historical suspicious transactions and control gaps from AML perspective.
The Job
1. Transaction Review Execution
Conduct transaction review exercises including but not limited to payment transactions and after sales transactions
Validate system entries against image records and perform data cleansing as needed
Support first-level review of name screening alerts and transaction monitoring alerts
Assist in documenting workflows and procedures to reflect retrospective review protocols
2. Reporting
Prepare summary reports of findings, including but not limited to volumes and assessment result
Maintain documentation and audit trails for all reviewed cases and actions taken
Support ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned
The Person
Degree holder in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Insurance, Operations, Risk Management, or related disciplines
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in life insurance/FI operations or administration
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow structured processes and apply logic to identify anomalies and risks
Able to present findings clearly and escalate issues appropriately
Proactive and dependable, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Resilient under pressure, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A committed team player who works well with others and contributes to shared goals
Good communication skills in both written and spoken Chinese, and written English
