Job Description
- Advise front office on business risk topics including client risk profile, product suitability and selling process requirements in compliance to the local regulatory regime and internal guidelines.
- Conduct transaction monitoring and other surveillance reviews to identify and assess potential risks for escalation, recommendation and rectification.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Compliance, Front Management & Support, COO office, Audit etc. to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and create business synergies.
- Work on management reports, data management and thematic reviews
- Participate in projects related to systems, new initiatives and regulatory updates.
Requirements
- University graduate, with at least 6-8 years of experience in Private Banking Business Risk Management. Candidates with more experiences will be considered as Associate Director.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal communication and time management skills.
- Knowledge and understanding on HKMA / SFC regulatory requirements for Private Banking business and investment products.
- Proficiency in MS Office. MS Power BI / Tableau, Avaloq knowledge and experience will be a plus.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
