Description:
1. Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of big data R&D projects, including requirements analysis, project planning, resource allocation, progress monitoring, and risk management.
2. Coordinate team members such as data scientists, engineers, and product managers to ensure achievement of project objectives and adherence to quality standards.
3. Regularly report on project progress, communicate with stakeholders, and resolve technical and managerial issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
4. Oversee the efficient use of project resources, optimize team workflows, and improve overall project execution efficiency.
5. Stay updated on cutting-edge technologies and industry trends in the big data domain to provide strategic and technical guidance.
6. Drive collaboration across internal and external departments to ensure successful project implementation and delivery.
7. Organize project reviews and postmortems to extract lessons learned and provide best practices for future projects.
Requirement:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Network & Communications, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Candidates with invention patents or published academic papers are preferred.
2. Possess a global perspective, open and innovative mindset, and familiarity with internet-based thinking. 3. Understanding of scientific innovation ecosystems in Hong Kong, Macao, and related institutions such as universities, industry associations, government bodies, and enterprises is a plus.
3. Over 3 years of experience in scientific research or project-related work, with a solid understanding of research project workflows, application procedures for scientific research grants, and fund management standards. PMP certification is a plus.
4. Strong self-learning abilities and proficient in tools such as PPT, Excel, and large AI models. Able to apply them efficiently in technology innovation tasks. Knowledge in cutting-edge areas like big data, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and computing power networks is expected. Proficiency in C++ or Python is preferred.
5. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to leverage internal and external resources effectively to accomplish tasks. Strong resilience and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex and changing environments.
6. Capable of reading scientific literature and interpreting policies. Must possess bilingual proficiency (Chinese + English) required for working in international environments. Candidates with overseas work experience are preferred.
