Passion for Language (www.passionforlanguage.com) is a fast-expanding British education consultancy firm based in Hong Kong. We provide a range of educational services including bespoke one-to-one classes for children and adults, activity classes for residences, and exam preparation for schools. We are a dynamic team of young, professional teachers who support one another in all aspects; lesson planning, curriculum development and continuing professional development are a priority.

We are hiring staff for three roles based in Hong Kong:
- English Literature & Language Tutors (Experienced in UK and/or US Curriculum)
- Maths Tutors (Experienced in UK and/or US Curriculum)
- Mandarin Language Tutors
Responsibilities:
- Either hourly, part-time or full-time, (VISA is sponsored and handled by the company)
- The opportunity to work with a range of ages or specialise in teaching one age group (kindergarten, primary or secondary years)
- Keeping track of student progress and learning goals and outcomes on a monthly basis, culminating in the creation of a report to be shared with parents, students, and one of our senior consultants.
- Occasionally drafting editorials for our website
Requirements:
- An excellent academic track record
- Will have attended either Oxbridge, Russell Group Universities or equivalent for international applicants
- PGCE/PGDE or equivalent preferred but not vital
- Provision of certificates that demonstrate training in teaching methods (for example, a CELTA or TEFL)
- At least 2 years of formal classroom or tutoring experience (5+ years preferred)
- Have the natural ability to motivate and inspire
