Executive Officer (25260151)
The Taught Postgraduate Studies Section of the Academic Registry is looking for a self-motivated and dedicated team player for the position of Executive Officer. The appointee is expected to provide administrative support and perform duties in various functional areas of the Section, including but not restricted to:
Responsibilities:
- Process application and admission for professional doctorate and taught postgraduate programmes;
- Liaise with programmes and departments and perform system operations to support programme administration;
- Assist in conducting continuous review on the appropriateness and timeliness of the operation procedures in accordance with the policies and regulations;
- Provide support to other ad hoc projects; and
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree plus at least three to five years of relevant work experience in the tertiary education sector;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Proficiency in computing applications particularly in using databases and spreadsheets;
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Self-motivated with a positive work attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
The appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
