The successful candidate will work as a team member of Infrastructure & Data Centre team. This role oversees the network architecture of Link group to an enterprise datacentre level, provides 2nd – 3rd Tier IT infrastructure support and operation.
He/she will be responsible for the overall design of the technical architecture and orchestration for the implementation of the projects , including adoption, integration and transition of all related technologies and components as well as selecting technical options and performing system sizing, and support operations across on-premises and cloud-based platforms, who shall work closely with application team, different business stakeholders and different levels of users to understand their needs, and communicate with vendors for IT solutions which comply with Link’s IT landscape.
- Helps to manage the Investment and operating lifecycle of equipment and contracts
- Develop and produce a roadmap of Infrastructure and Operation
- Perform a cost-benefit analysis to program of projects linked to business objectives
- Provide a Level 2-3 local/global network support by 7x24 to the production environment
- Review the technology and operational processes and work closely with other internal stakeholders
- Manage staff and perform completion of all assignments and help assessment process
- Responsible for entire global network operations, monitoring, support, and implementation for multicloud networking, data centre network, campus network, Wi-Fi network, regional MPLS network and voice network
- Plan, manage, design, and maintain the On-Premise, Cloud Network and Data Centre infrastructure
- Collaborate and implement all network software and hardware upgradation
- Work with the business stakeholders to gather the business requirement and come up network solutions to support the business needs
- Ensure the infrastructure services to meet with the corporate standard/policy with proper governance setup
- Responsible for capacity planning and proactive monitoring of all infrastructure related components
- Manage different service providers/vendors and its service delivery against KPI and SLA
- Manage storage and backup policy changes through the change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties
- Perform troubleshoot and resolve different problem and evaluate LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Security and Cybersecurity functionality to administer all shortcomings
- Review the technology and operational processes on a regular basis, and recommend necessary improvements on Cloud and IT infrastructure to achieve service excellence Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution or overall improvement
- Prepare design plans and tests which are applicable to assist disaster recovery expeditions
- University degree preferably in Computing Science or relevant discipline
- At least 7-10 years related projects experience in enterprise infrastructure on cloud and datacentre with at least 4 years at supervisor level
- Certificate holders PMP, ITIL4, CCNP, CISSP, cloud certificate or relevant disciplines would be an advantage
- Solid experience in H3C, Cisco and Aruba Switch, F5, Palo Alto, Fortigate and CheckPoint firewall, Aruba and Ruckus Wi-Fi Solutions
- In-depth understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), strong experience in firewall rules, ACL, IDS, IPS, IMC, Good knowledge of VPN, MPLS
- Expertise on Windows, Linux, Powershell, Cloudshell Support and Implementation
- Solid experience in implementation of Public / Hybrid Cloud solutions and automation/orchestration of infrastructure operational processes
- Good experiences and knowledge in Server & Storage, Network Infrastructure, Security and Datacentre project management
- Extensive experience in WAN, LAN, multi-cloud networking, iOT, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN, SASE technologies
- Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity solutions and technologies - AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, and able to work under pressure
- Good command of spoken and written English and Putonghua
- Willing to travel out of town for project
