The Job
Develop and implement FWD HK’s operational risk management, including but not limited to incident and issue management, business continuity management, outsourcing management, internal control assessment and testing programs, and use of risk analytics tools for risk insights.
Manage the risk reporting and ensure all reporting items (to Group Office, boards and committees) are delivered in a timely fashion.
Manage incident handling, leading the process from incident identification, mitigation planning, reporting to stakeholders to closure.
Lead process deep dives to identify control enhancement opportunities.
Perform data analyses to provide 2nd line insights and independent view on risk assessment
Other ad-hoc tasks as appointed by reporting manager
The Person
Bachelor’s degree holder with 8+ years of experience in risk/compliance/audit, preferably in financial services industry
CPA or certifications related to information security and/or data management are preferred
Conceptual and practical thinking
Exposure to and strong sense of internal control setting
Experience in handling boards and risk committees of financial institution
Experience in information security and/or data analytics
Proficiency in risk systems and data visualization tools
Knowledge in cloud, cyber and technological risks is preferred
