The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor degree programmes to VTC’s Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree holders in collaboration with overseas universities. Major Duties:
(a)
To perform teaching duties at bachelor degree level, such as supervision of students' projects, laboratories and field works;
(b)
To review and prepare teaching and learning packages with both international and local contexts and practices;
(c)
To carry out academic related administration duties and attend meetings in academic and other related meetings;
(d)
To attend professional training and/or seminars as invited by the School, where necessary; and
(e)
To participate in school / departmental projects and functions, where necessary.
Requirements:
(a)
A recognised master’s degree in related discipline;
(b)
At least 4 years’ relevant teaching experience at tertiary / degree level or professional experience at an appropriate level of responsibility in Aviation Industry; and
(c)
Good record of research, and preferably experience of dissertation / project supervision.
