Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in School of Nursing (Ref.: 532491), to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree, or preferably a doctoral degree, in Nursing or a healthcare-related discipline, and hold a valid Registered Nurse Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. They should have at least 10 years’ post-qualification classroom and clinical teaching experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate nursing programmes at tertiary institutions, along with demonstrated competence in curriculum development. Experience in educational research will be an advantage. Fluency in both English and Cantonese, as well as mentoring skills, are essential. Those with at least 3 years’ relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Lecturer.
The appointee will assume a leadership role in nursing education and be responsible for the teaching and coordination of nursing courses. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At the current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided for appointment as Senior Lecturer as applicable.
