Programme Officer (25260026)
The Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance (AEF) is seeking a highly self-motivated and dynamic team member to support the the daily operation of a taught postgraduate programme at the department.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing and admission: Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events to attract prospective students. Coordinate programme’s admission process, including applicant communication, interviews, offer recommendation and relevant approval procedure;
- Academic support: Provide administrative and logistic support to teaching related matters. Facilitate programme's development by coordinating the approval process of various programme documents;
- Student service and development: Provide administrative and logistic support for students’ learning and development. Organise a range of out-of-classroom activities and other experimental learning opportunities to enhance students' academic and professional development;
- Alumni engagement: Build and maintain strong relationship with alumni, coordinate events and communications to foster an engaged alumni community;
- General administration: Manage programme documentation, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Programme Director and the Department Head.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant work experience preferably in programme administration/tertiary institutions;
- Effective communication skills with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently;
- Self-motivated with a detailed and analytical mindset; and
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed term contract of two years commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
