Description
The Project Manager is a member of Project Services, catering for the set-up and execution of research and activation projects. A member of a multi-disciplinary team that is able to manage projects from A to Z, from initial set-up document to preparing client-ready deliverables. Within the team, the Project Manager is responsible for coordinating the execution of all research and activation projects. The position is involved in all steps of the process, from briefing the implementation team to following up on final deliverables. The Project Manager is the key contact person for all parties involved. Through communication, ensures projects run smoothly and things keep moving. The Project Manager needs to make sure tasks and processes are implemented in the most efficient way and with a high-quality standard. The role is also the trusted person between CST & PST and needs to ensure process compliance amongst CST & PST. The Project Manager has to initiate efforts to have a homogenous delivery practice across all team members. The position supports senior members of the team in managing more complex and technical challenging projects.Responsibilities
Project, method & account management- Able to independently handle low-medium complexity projects successfully. Understand the content and are able to efficiently transpose these to a team effort.
- Accountable and responsible for the timely implementation of research and activation projects. Do this for projects with little complexity, following a standard methodology (e.g., 1 methodology, etc.) or scope (e.g., easy target group, involvement of trusted parties, etc.). For these projects, the Project Manager is the first person in line to answer questions and follow-up requests from people involved in the project execution (internal project service team, external moderators & freelancers, etc.).
- Has a good understanding of the project specifications (background, objectives, approach, etc.) and challenge the consultant team where needed.
- Responsible for briefing the project service team and lead the project from start till finish (set-up, implementation, data collection and analyses / reporting). Follow-up with the project service team and are able to answer project specific questions.
- Assist in drafting a micro-planning and responsible to follow-up on the planning of the projects you're managing.
- Regularly check-in with the project service team to have a good understanding of the project status.
- Report progress to the consultant team and highlight key events that impact the project implementation.
- Make sure the project implementation is done according to the agreed timing and milestones.
- Think along with the consultant team and give advice on how to improve the research experience of consumers and understand implications (time & feasibility) of specific (change) requests and can advise different alternative solutions.
- Has a good view of the client history, the projects done and the foundations of the relationship.
- Able to process databases and prepare them for fieldwork. This includes some basic database management skills (cleaning, filtering, etc.).
- Responsible for handling incentives in collaboration with the consultant and experts. Make sure all participants get the right compensation based on set agreements and activities. Do this for projects with little complexity (e.g., single compensation system, straightforward and objective rules for granting compensation, etc.)
- Run final quality checks of the online implementation of all projects and ensure a smooth participant experience for all projects (surveys, Research Platforms, Activation platforms, etc.).
- Aware of outsourced costs and the impact they have on the project budget.
Technical knowledge
- Has advanced knowledge of all the tools used for performing the key responsibilities
- Able to explain the innovations to the team when it comes to technical implications.
- Basic knowledge and experience in:
- Microsoft Office Outlook
- Content Management Systems
- Basic knowledge and experience in using of the following is a plus:
- Database Management (SQL, Access, etc.)
- Administrative software (sales, HR, etc.)
- Understand basic MR terminology (IR, DOR, RR, sample specifications,) and research approaches (quant / qual, tracker, concept test, idea screener, community screener, IHUT, etc.).
- Has good basic knowledge on proprietary models (ACT, Boost, Boost +, Create) and good knowledge of all proprietary software.
- Has solid knowledge of the research process
- Understand the impact of applying the method correctly on the actions.
- Up to date with most of the common solutions Human8 is offering.
- Can take draft a (micro-)planning to ensure project execution as efficient and effective possible.
- Understand the research goals and business impact before starting a project.
- Can manage critical incidence communication.
- Independent when it comes to problem solving within the domain and can link solutions between departments.
Qualifications
- Education level - a bachelor’s degree (e.g. Marketing, Languages, Mathematics or similar)
- Experience - 1-3 years of experience in a similar project management role
