Major Duties:
(a)
To support the planning, coordination and implementation of student admissions exercises;
(b)
To take part in development, enhancement and review of student admissions related computer systems, design system report templates and perform quality assurance of reports;
(c)
To take part in development, enhancement and maintenance of the admission homepage;
(d)
To assist in formulating, implementing and reviewing policies, systems and procedures in the areas of student and programme-related administration;
(e)
To prepare and update the administration guide, workflow and user manual;
(f)
To assist in coordinating projects and events, and the publicity matters of the operational unit;
(g)
To handle students, public enquiries and complaints independently;
(h)
To perform administrative work relating to office administration, human resources, finance and procurement;
(i)
To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical staff to ensure effective delivery of support and services;
(j)
To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings.
Requirements:
(a)
A recognised degree, or equivalent;
(b)
At least two years’ relevant work experience; preferably in educational institutions or major organisations;
(c)
Preference will be given to candidates with good understanding in student admissions;
(d)
A high level of written and spoken language proficiency in both Chinese and English, preferably including Putonghua;
(e)
Good problem solving, time management and team building skills; and
(f)
Self-initiative and be a good team player.
Notes:
(1)
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(2)
Shortlisted applicants will be required to sit for a written test in both English and Chinese.
(3)
Appointee(s) may be required to work outside normal office hours and work on Sundays and public holidays as necessary.
(4)
Immediate availability is preferred.
(5)
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees who will be posted to Shine Skills Centres will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
