School activities include but are not limited to:
- Regular co-curricular activities;
- Sport Teams;
- Student Led CAS co-curricular activities;
- Challenge Week activities;
- Interhouse activities.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support the Activities Manager, CAS Coordinator, Sport Coordinator and Head of Interhouse in activities;
- Handle the administration duties related to the organization of: CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service), Sports Teams, Challenge Week, Interhouse, Colours, Co-Curricular and other activities as requested;
- Duties include but are not limited to, arranging for and maintaining the HK School Sports Federation team Member sports cards, submission of sports competition applications, providing administrative support for whole school events such as sports day and swimming gala, purchasing items as required;
- Liaise with bus companies for bus booking arrangements for sports fixtures and other school events;
- Maintain and update bus booking information for activities, fixtures, and events in the calendars.
- Involve in activities and events including whole school, Interhouse activities and Colours;
- Help with the organization of bus bookings and purchasing of insurance for Challenge Week as directed by VP i/c of Challenge Week;
- Comply with procurement policy and purchase items within the budgeted spending allowance of the activities department;
- Support and attend HK School Sports Federation events including the AGM;
- Perform other duties as appropriate and reasonable and as directed by the Vice Principal Line Manager;
- Provide information to any activity organizer who requires information about setting up their activity, advertising it and enrolling students;
- Provide information to parents and students who want to know whether a particular activity is taking place and where it will be;
- This serves as a guide only and the role may change significantly as the needs of the school evolve.
Requirements
- Ability to work and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment;
- A-levels or equivalent (Preferably an undergraduate degree);
- Three years’ administration, preferably within a school environment;
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Cantonese;
- Highly computer literate;
- Must be organized and a good communicator;
- Be able to work with students, staff and parents in a friendly and authoritative manner;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Courteous and helpful, team player, self-motivated.
