Project introduction:
The Jockey Club TCM-driven Mental Wellness Project is a platform providing evidence-based Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preventive and treatment services for the high-risk population and patients with common mental disorders in the community. The platform fosters interdisciplinary pilot cooperation between TCM and counselling, which enhances capacity building, research development, and network collaboration.
The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support to the above project.
Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the project’s executive team, including scheduling appointments, organising files, and preparing correspondence;
- Assisting with data entry and management, including updating databases, cross-checking, and tracking project progress;
- Maintaining updated records, including project budgets and invoices;
- Assisting with preparing and organising materials for meetings and events;
- Coordinating talks and events with Chinese Medicine Practitioners, NGOs and other parties;
- Responding to internal and external inquiries;
- Assisting with general office management, including ordering supplies and equipment;
- Providing general administration support to ensure the smooth operation of the project;
- Managing project social media accounts and social media promotion;
- Facilitating coordination and communication among project stakeholders, including team members, TCM practitioners, and clinical staff at TCM clinics; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree;
- At least one year of relevant work experience;
- Proficiency in common computer applications including MS Office, Excel, and Chinese word processing;
- Proficiency in managing and creating content across major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube;
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility; and
- Ability to work independently and in a team and be self-motivated.
The appointee will be required to work on weekends and/ or public holidays.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Clerk.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
