What this job involves: As a Facilities Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for occupants. You will coordinate with vendors, respond to maintenance requests, and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize facility performance and longevity.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Respond to and resolve facility-related issues and service requests in a timely manner
Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs
Coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs and maintenance work
Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements
Maintain inventory of facility supplies and equipment
Update and maintain facility documentation, including floor plans and maintenance records
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
Degree / Higher Diploma / Associate holder in Real Estate / Building Services / Facilities Management / Property Management / Hotel Management / Business Administration or equivalent
Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with BMS is a plus(Building Management Systems)
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facilities management or building operations
Technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance requirements
Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
Effective communication skills in both written and verbal English, Cantonese preferred
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation with experience handling tenant/occupant requests
Secondary education required, technical diploma or equivalent experience in facilities management preferred
