IT Support Assistant/ Officer

An IT Support Officer will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to our clients, firewall security and IT asset management. His/her duties will also extend to software and hardware regular backup, installation, setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrading and replacing company equipment.

What you'll be performing:

• Responsible for the IT help desk support, software installation, IT issue solving, software upgrade etc.

• Responsible for daily maintenance of internal weak current system, telephone resource management and IT asset management.

• Windows/Mac installation, setup, configuration and upgrade.

• Troubleshoot the hardware and software in Windows/Mac, networking equipment, Mobile (Android/IOS), Printer, Projector, NAS.

• Assist users to solve IT problems.

• Assist to maintain Active Directory user account.

• Maintain IT inventory.

• Assist on IT related subjects.

• Responsible for the on-site support for VIP users.

• Other work arranged by superior.

We are looking for you if you are:

• Diploma or above in computer studies, information technology, or related qualifications.

• Knowledge in IT support operations, Windows / Linux Server Administration, Systems / Network supports, and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of enterprise standards including logging, monitoring, access limitation, sensitive data handling.

• Have good language expression, and communication skills.

• Good team player with problem-solving skills and customer service oriented.

• Passion for self-improvement and a healthy appetite for learning.

• Able to discover, apply and establish best practices.

• Fresh graduates are welcome.

Would be great if you:

• Have proficient knowledge of networking, LAN / WAN, TCP/IP networking, DNS, router and switch, Wi-Fi. networks, Active Directory, Cloud infrastructure, VM and Linux/Microsoft server implementation, etc.

• Have any professional certification related to Cloud such as AWS, Google & Azure would be an advantage.

• Have experience in managing Kubernetes cluster or OpenShift.

• Have experience in planning disaster recovery, high availability, multi-AZ solutions.
