Quantity Surveyor
UDL Group is a multi-disciplinary engineering group with extensive track records in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. We, through our subsidiaries, are approved contractors for Public Works under Port Works and Site Formation Category in Group B or Group C. We also offer specialist services to clients and main contractors including, (i) design and construction of airfield structural works; (ii) management of land fill reception facilities and marine sediment disposal pits; (iii) marine transportation/engineering; (iv) aids to navigation and mooring; (v) precast concrete and steelwork products supply and installation including very heavy structures; and (vi) recycling of construction and demolition materials. We are now looking for high caliber management and engineering staff to cope with our continuing expansion of operations. What you'll be doing
Manage the commercial administration for assigned construction projects and tender bidding
Monitor project budgets and cash flow, identifying and mitigating financial risks
Negotiate and finalize contractual terms with clients and subcontractors
Liaise with quantity surveyors, procurement teams and project managers
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Support project teams, continuous improvement of commercial processes and systems
What we're looking for
6+ years of relevant experience in a commercial/quantity surveying role within the construction industry
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues
Proficient in contract administration, cost control and project reporting
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and management skills
