We are a sizable international sourcing organization with 60,000 square feet studio showcasing 5000+SKUs supplied to countries including UK, Ireland, Canada , Denmark, France, Germany and India with in house graphic designers and sourcing team to support our team. We are now looking for Shipping Clerk to cope with our team expansion.
Key Responsibilities:Document Management:
Independently manage the full set of Import/Export (I/E) documents, Letters of Credit (L.C.), and shipping documentation such as online booking.
Export Operations:
Oversee export processes related to battery shipments, fumigation requirements, customs processes, and Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments.
Logistics Coordination:
Monitor shipment schedules and assign appropriate carriers to ensure delivery timelines are met.
Collaborate with forwarders, suppliers, and merchandisers to fulfill delivery and payment needs.
Arrange consolidated shipments with customers and suppliers.
Supplier Assistance:
Provide guidance to suppliers on export documentation to guarantee timely shipments.
Daily Operational Support:
Assist with daily operations, including courier services and exhibition arrangements.
Issue invoices and follow up on payment status.
Qualifications:Industry Experience:
Solid experience in the trading industry is essential, with a preference for candidates who have worked with the EU and Australian markets.
Skills:
Strong understanding of international trade regulations and shipping logistics.
Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise effectively with all parties.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail, especially concerning documentation and compliance.
