IVE Engineering has organized a number of high-quality professional development training courses for practitioners in the Engineering Discipline including construction, building and civil engineering; electronic and electrical engineering; mechanical and industrial engineering; aircraft and automotive engineering. In order to meet the increase in demand for our services, we are looking for executive assistants to provide high-quality logistic support to the promotion and operation of the training courses.
Major Duties:
(a)
To provide clerical and general administrative support service to the office, including publicity and promotion activities; and
(b)
To provide support in course administration, including handling course enquiries, student admission, student records, timetabling and class briefing, etc.
Requirements:
(a)
(i)
Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
(ii)
Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
(iii)
Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
(iv)
A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
(v)
A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.

“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b)
Proficiency in the use of computer software application, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(c)
Good command of English and Chinese, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua;
(d)
Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
(e)
Pleasant personality, good work initiative and customer-oriented with good telephone manners; and
(f)
Ability to work independently and be a good team player.
Note:
The appointee(s) may be required to work outside normal office hours.
