Duties
- Manage subordinates in the efficient and effective operation of the tuition fee collection system and drive the related system improvement;
- Coordinate with various stakeholders in the enhancement of the financial management system;
- Conduct environmental scans, market research, benchmarking, and admission and enrollment analyses that inform strategic decisions and recruitment strategies;
- Prepare financial projections and analyses for the development of the new campus and new programmes/ projects;
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget of the University and annual risk management and operational plans of FEO;
- Assist in the development/ implementation of a financial framework, policies, guidelines and workflows required as a result of the increasing independency of the University's financial operations; and
- Perform any other ad hoc assignments as instructed by the Vice-President (Finance and Institutional Advancement) and the Director of FEO.
Appointment Criteria
- Holder of an accountancy qualification or other relevant professional qualifications;
- At least 10 years' experience in budgeting, financial and management reporting, as well as development and implementation of IT systems;
- Relevant experience in a similar position in local/ overseas higher education institutions will be an advantage;
- Good interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills; and
- Good command of both English and Chinese.
