CAMPUS SAFETY AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SECTION
Assistant Officer (23241245)
The appointee will be a member of the Campus Safety and Facilities Management Section of the Estates Office and be responsible for providing various administrative support to the operation of campus management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial, administrative and logistics support to office operations including but not limited to arrange meetings and prepare meeting notes, handle enquiries and draft correspondences, maintain filing records and office inventory items, etc.;
- Prepare notices / signage and conduct spot checks to facilities, as required;
- Assist to handle procurement procedures such as purchase requisitions, reimbursement and payment;
- Assist in compiling various kinds of reports, correspondence and presentation materials;
- Assist in reviewing/consolidating office guidelines and procedures; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree or equivalent, with at least two years of relevant work experience;
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
- Organised and pay attention to details; and
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for a written test.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
