Projects and Operations Support Officer (Assistant Executive Officer) (25260083)
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Projects and Operations Support Officer to support the Language Centre General Office team. This role involves collecting data for analysis and report compilation, assisting with the setup and management of Moodle for university courses, coordinating website updates, and maintaining budget records. The ideal candidate will have a science background, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to multitask across technical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organise, and analyse data and create clear visualisations to present findings for reports;
- Assist in managing Moodle for course setup and maintenance;
- Support regular website updates using WordPress;
- Assist the Manager in tracking budgets, expenses, and financial documentation using Excel or other available tools; and
- Provide general administrative support and other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computing Science or a related field;
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills; a meticulous eye for detail;
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and visualisation;
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI;
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems and WordPress;
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks;
- Effective communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to tackle challenges.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Initial appointment will be made on a one- or two-year contract and is renewable upon mutual agreement. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
