Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the School of Biomedical Engineering (Ref.: 532953) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or a related field. They should be excellent communicators who have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to motivate their team members to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. Excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; and an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Experience in undergraduate programme management would be an advantage.
The appointee will play a versatile role at the frontline handling a range of tasks in undergraduate programme administration such as admissions, registration, timetabling, assessment, student affairs, curriculum revisions, quality assurance/enhancement and committee support. He/She will also contribute to student-centred services in teaching and learning as well as academic support matters. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
