About your team
Business Services is a regional Distribution-aligned business support team that delivers business change, planning and execution activities for Fidelity’s businesses. Although based in Asia, the team works on both region-led activities and global initiatives that impact the region. We partner with our business channels to contribute to the growth of Fidelity by:
  • Offering independent assessments on strategic alignment and feasibility of business concepts.
  • Overseeing and prioritising change initiatives against objectives, budgets and resources.
  • Providing guidance and proposing solutions on project governance and workstreams management.
Typical types of business change initiatives managed by the team include:
  • Business growth initiatives
  • Enhancements to the propositions for retail, wholesale and institutional clients
  • Scale and efficiency initiatives
  • Regulatory and compliance initiatives
Purpose of your role
To support business growth in the region, there are number of business development and initiatives currently underway. All play a critical role in delivering investment solutions and distribution services to our clients.
As an Associate Director - Business Services, APAC, you will partner with and support the regional senior leadership team by effectively managing distribution-led initiatives and representing the APAC Distribution business on various initiatives led by our internal partners.
You will help shape the future business model of the group and be an integral member of an energetic, innovative, and integrated team. The portfolio of initiatives will typically be cross-functional and cross-location in nature (APAC or Global), requiring you to use strong influencing and persuasion skills to ensure successful delivery. Senior stakeholder management skills are critical to aligning priorities and results with senior management expectations.
You will facilitate the development of key business areas and directly manage projects related to the key initiatives driving the business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the APAC business strategy through close partnering with the regional senior leadership.
  • Assist senior management on planning, execution, and reporting of initiatives.
  • Deliver a varied portfolio of work, including programme and project management, analytical assessments, cross-functional coordination, and strategic planning and resource management.
  • Manage change initiatives as part of a team or independently, as required.
  • Some travel may be required.
About you
  • Experience in a project management role, ideally within management consulting or the financial services industry.
  • Ability to understand business needs to effectively lead, coordinate, and deliver change initiatives for regional stakeholders.
  • Ability to structure problems and apply analytical tools to propose solutions.
  • Ability to analyse, identify, and close gaps in business requirements.
  • Ability to work independently to drive strategic change initiatives with tight deadlines.
  • Strong client management skills, including executive-level communication and presentation.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, with a "can-do" attitude and result-oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Teams) and other project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. Any other language would be beneficial.
