• Leading the teams of Trade Finance Operations and Loan Document Operations to support Wholesale Banking Group to ensure the operations are under a sound operations model and striking a good balance among efficiency, flexibility, cost and risk control as well as customer services improvement • Planning, managing and directing the teams to ensure no disruption to critical banking services and in accordance with the overall Bank strategy • Understanding business units’ needs and concerns, and proactively providing most appropriate services to support business growth and new business initiatives • Supporting key cross-team process improvement and system changes initiatives to fulfil regulatory requirements and continuous improvement on operational efficiency, productivity, risk and control • Develop and evaluate strategy and partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery plans are feasible, aligned and delivered against operations objectives • Drive program and change initiatives across the business to ensure the success of the program delivery • Support senior managements to monitor and steer progress, to influence stakeholders and with best practices and tactful advices to make strategic decisions • Providing coaching and guidance to subordinates ensuring that they are competent to perform • Planning and driving talent management within the teams to improve staff performance • Timely reviewing the regulatory requirements and best market practices to ensure the business / operations process is compliant with regulationsRequirements:
- University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Minimum 15 years’ hands on working experience in banking industry, preferably with experience in process design, project management and operational risk management, as well as being people manager for min. 5 years
- Strong stakeholders' management and interpersonal skills
- Strong Project Management skills
- Good spoken and written Chinese and English
